FT1000 Nil Transmit

Greetings all,I have a problem with a FT-1000.Nil Transmit on all bands.Rx is ok,when the ptt is activated no RF power is generated,all the voltages appear ok on the RF board,the auto tuner goes thru the motions of wanting to work but after a couple of seconds goes back to the idle state.Has anybody struck anything like this before?
I did have a problem with the power supply which caused the transmitter to do some funny things but tracked that down to a burnt Molex plug.
