Using half of a yagi triband DE as a vertical

Post by VK4WDM »

I have an old tri-band yagi driven element in my junk pile. Has anyone tried using one half of these as a roof-mounted vertical for 20, 15 and 10m, or mounting it on top of a longer length of tubing and ground mounting it for 10 - 80m? (probably need another loading coil for 80m).
