Magnetic Base woes

Post by VK2TDN »

hi gang

had wondered why there appeared to be poorer access, whilst mobile, to my fav 70cm repeaters of late

Am suprised it had failed so badly when there is little movement of the base
But the insides of the base were totally corroded. its pretty much a write off, was hoping to only need to trim and reterminate the coax... no such luck
