Anyway 5/8th vertical is not as bad as it sounds.
I monitor 53.650 Mt William repeater which is a mile high has at least a 250k range and I hear NOTHING.

Thats what happens when you monitor an FM repeater using CW. Try calling on it in CW you may get a reply :think:

Hi Karl, I have a 5 element WW beam that has been cut down to a 3 element, may I please crab a copy of the 3 element beam plan you have to check the scribbled specs I have.. Much Appreciated,
