Rotator Controller - replacement

Post by VK4CZ »

There's been lots of discussion here (and else where) regarding replacement of rotator controllers with genuine parts. Here's a great option that provides increased functionality over many genuine options. :D

i hve used a Wheatstone bridge circuit using the sencer pot as the wariable leg(usually 500 ohms) es place a digital meter for readout (usally 200 mv) es Arrange supply volts for 18v dc u can then set up for north, center of var pot as 000 es say cw + to 18.0 es ccw - 18.0 volts so ur read out is 180 either side of north!! dont use decimal point.. put a pot on other side of bridge es can be used as cal trim..taking that we all know how a wheatstone bridge works hi hi
