Friday 15th November Meeting with OE amateurs.

The following has been circulated - maybe some on the logger forum may have missed it.

Microwave Show and Tell
We are pleased to welcome Wolfgang OE4WOG and Hans OE2JOM to our monthly clubroom meeting where they will discuss their activities, achievements and demonstrate some of their equipment. Wolfgang and Hans are both well-known OE Amateurs especially for their microwave activities and are hosted in Australia by David VK5KK/ZD. Wolfgang is the current 122 GHz world record holder and Hans designed (with OE5VRL) the 47 GHz and 76 GHz waveguide switches used with the Kuhne 47/76 transverters and other popular Dubus projects.
The team is currently on a road trip through south eastern Australia and we are fortunate have them travelling through Melbourne late next week. At a recent meeting of the Elisabeth Amateur Radio Club (EARC) in Adelaide, Wolfgang and Hans kept a dozen or so microwave enthusiasts well entertained, therefore this will be a one off opportunity for local microwave operators and enthusiasts to meet them, some will even have OE2JOM's waveguide relays or PLL's in their own systems.
This is an event, one not to miss and we look forward to welcoming our guests Wolfgang, Hans and David to this special meeting.
Time - Rooms open from 7:30 pm and meeting starts at 8:00 pm.
Location - EMDRC Club Rooms - 13a McCubbin St, Burwood (Melway ref: 61 E7)
