The 5G rollout, and something to be concerned about.

No, not the actual 5G itself, but the dim-witted anti-5G scare campaign being spread across Foolbook.

Sadly Adam a bit like the original scare campaign for the old cell network. That didn't work either as now that stuff is everywhere. You only have to drive around any residential area and spot all the mini cells sites on lamp posts on the sids of buildings and anywhere they have an RF hole to full. How this differs from 5G i have no idea. From what I understand the idea is to run much lower power but to have many more sites with the same results as current systems in terms of RF exposure. I myself would be more concerned about the short hope links around the place if you live or work in an office block close to the beam of one of these I wonder how much RF you'd be exposed too. Funny part about this is I suspect its driven by public demand in that everyone wants faster internet from mobile devices and this is the solution. We as hams should be more worried about the effect it may have on 3.4Ghz

Are they also worried about airport body scanners, which operate much closer to one's person?

The June 2019 Silicon Chip editorial has some interesting points re the 5G service.

And if you like a bit of light reading, there is 6G:
