It is with sadness, the Fisher's Ghost Amateur Radio Club must advise of the passing of their friend and fellow club member Max Munro VK2FMRM, on Thursday morning 12th May, aged 83 years, following a long battle with ill health.
Max obtained his amateur radio licence in May 2009. He joined the club at the same time and was also a member of the WIA. He was almost always heard on the club's weekly net when his health allowed and was known by all as a true gentleman. In his earlier years, Max was an aircraft pilot and flew out of Cootamundra and Temora doing crop dusting.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday 18th May, 10:30am at St. John's Church, Campbelltown.
Max is survived by his 2 daughters and 3 sons.
Valè Max Munro VK2FMRM.
