Very poor conditions tonight. Hell was a non starter. I only managed a short quo with Wayne VK4WTN and I had a partial read on Andy VK6OX.

Well last night was a bad one for me. I was at the Sunshine Coast ARC last night and found someone had screwed around with the computer interface and I had no TX. I was seeing VK2DUX, VK2XTC and VK4WTN all calling CQ on Hell with good signal but I could not TX back. By the time I got it going I was called away for the nights meeting. I snuck back into the comms room and saw Olivia was running with good signals as well but could not join in.
Will be back on the home station again next week so hope for some better conditions next week.

Hi all,

Unable to make it last night , looks like conditions weren't too good anyway.

I should be a starter for next week.

Well that was a bleak night for me both on Hell and Olivia. I had a good qso with Phil VK5RM on both Hell and Olivia, but sadly no other signals seen.

It was a very poor night for me as well. Only station seen on both Hell and Olivia was VK5RM. No signs of VK2 or VK7 tonight. Even the local station (200kms away) VK4WTN was not seen. I did try VK5RM on Hell but sigs too weak but condx picked up towards the end of the session and I was able to have a QSO with VK5RM on Olivia.
I will be back on next week from the local ham radio club so will either be on as VK4LHD or the club call VK4WIS.

Cheers

Hi Folks,

Does anyone play with Feld Hell later in the evening? I usually cant get to a radio much before 8.30-9.00pm after work and family duties. I've tried working the Europeans on Hell but havent cracked it yet so would love a chance to try some domestic. 80m perhaps around 3635 one night?

Regards,
Grant VK5GR

P.S. not this week - 80m antenna is down ready to go work the RD Contest next weekend.

Hi Grant,
Vk2eik can do that. Later in the evening would suit me as well. Maybe even some Olivia as well.

Richard
