I know i joke saying Bob ZL1RS has the biggest ears in the pacific but those beverage antennas are a credit to you

Just been watching the signal reports you are receiving and they are really impressive

Thanks Len (I think!) I was stunned at the difference the Beverage made to RX SNR on 30m ... a 'zero' noise country QTH helps too of course.

Anyway, PS-62 continues along its merry way ... it took a bit of an altitude dip to 8000m ASL very late last night, but now seems to be doing cart wheels to celebrate regaining the usual mid-9000m float height. http://ready.arl.noaa.gov/hypubout/12917_trj001.gif

Hi Jim,

Those repeated transmissions often happens when the battery voltage is hovering around the threshold between the "full" and "reduced" levels. As the sun angle gets lower the battery voltage will drop below the threshold and the repeats will stop ... and the transmissions will change from every 10 minutes to every 30 minutes (as long as a valid GPS lock is obtained).

I have a FT847 for JT9

Do you have the Noise limited on ?

Narrow down the IF with the IF shift set to narrower ?

Narrow down WSJT X on the bandwidth on the computer?

Thanks Murray ZL3MH

Hi all,
Looks like PS-62 went MIA after two days in the air.
Thanks for tracking, and see you at the next flight :)
