AO-85 A very respectful request

Post by VK4WDM »

I recently discovered the magic of working AO-85 but because I am so far north (Townsville) my window of opportunity for contacts further south is very limited.I have a very respectful request to make. Could all stations please leave a break between overs to see what other stations would like to join in the QSO before the window closes (some of course already do).

Hi Brian

Thank you for finding that info. My plea must have worked because two stations in contact last night checked for breakers every over

Wayne,

I corrected the frequencies in the MacDoppler application I use (Uplink / Downlink where reversed, very odd) and so you may hear me on the bird now.

Hi Brian

It is certainly well heard. On a nth-sth pass a couple of days ago I first heard it over the Arafura sea and last heard it when two VK3s were in contact as it passed the coast of South Australia.

I will be looking out for you.
