SOTA activation of "The Vere"

Hi team,
My Army unit is doing a shake-out of it's Field Workshop in early March and as the ASM, I have a choice where I can deploy the workshop... Now if you happen to have a SOTA summit in the middle of a restricted military training area, where would be a really, really cool place to go? "The Vere"...
I intend to operate portable from the summit on as many bands as I can with liaison on VK2RNC (146.975). Watch this space for more updates.

Hey John,
Glad to have another VK in town, I shall be sure to drag you up to the Vere when we do our recce. You have a big job there as the Sallyman has been withdrawn by the Salvos to work in town. I'm pretty sure you can find my QTH (just drive up Blaxland) and I'll introduce you to the Hunter Radio Group.

What's the SOTA reference for "The Vere"?

Hi Andrew et al,

It is VK2/HU-089.
It looks as if the SOTA summit is a little west and south of (and significantly higher than) the marker on the Google Earth image in this thread.
