BREAKING NEWS (from ABC TV).

Dick Smith Electronics has gone into voluntary administration following failure to secure ongoing funding. :oops:

Dick Smith VK2DIK sold his business to Woolworth more than 30 years ago. Woolworths sold the business in 2012 to the Australian investment firm Anchorage Capital Partners.

Fond memories of visiting Dick Smith stores in VK2, VK3, VK4 & VK8 over the years 74' to early 90's. Tongue hanging out and saliva dripping from the corner whilst staring at all the 'radio gear' :mrgreen:
Only place really left is Ross's place in Vic. Ain't going near that parallel importer in NSW....
