Don't forget the Australian Jamboree on at the moment at Cataract Park NSW, VI2AJ2016 is on the air with Amateur Radio! Here's the rundown from their QRZ Page:

What is the Australian Jamboree? Well, it’s the biggest and best event in the Australian Scouting calendar… so big in fact, that it only runs every three years! The 2016 Australian Jamboree (or AJ2016) is the 24th Australian Jamboree, where over 12,000 Scouts will converge on Cataract Scout Park to camp for 2 glorious weeks of fun, fantastic adventure and friendship.

The 2016 Australian Jamboree will start on Sunday, 3rd January 2016 and finish on Wednesday, 13th January 2016.

AJ2016 will be held at the Cataract Scout Park located on the edge of Cataract Dam in New South Wales, Australia, with a number of activities including Amateur Radio. The amateur radio activity is operated by the Fisher's Ghost Amateur Radio Club. http://www.fgarc.net If you are trying to work us, please be patient, as the operator may be a Scout in front of a microphone for the first time.

We may not always be on the air depending on activities/demonstrations being done at any particular time.
