Haven't seen this before. FYI.
The new high performance SpyVerter, extends the reception range down to DC for a gapless DC – 1.8GHz coverage with a superb 10MHz instantaneous view.

This video shows the newest features of SDR# that provide seamless tuning form VLF through HF and VHF/UHF with AIrspy and Spyverter. The software automatically reconfigures as the receiver is tuned below 35 Mhz, including setting the correct offset. A new PPM calibration feature is also provided for the Spyverter. A manual antenna switch is used.

Youssef Touil is the creator of SDR# software, and the Airspy SDR, W9RAN collaborated in the development of Spyverter.

Looks nice.

I've been contemplating an up-converter for my RTL SDR for a while, just upgrading the tablet I run that on to Win 10, and then will probably order one of these.

I have one to complement the Airspy. It's performance is way, way, way, ahead of the RTL based SDRs. I think the new version of the Airspy may be incorporating the Spyverter downconverter.

Does it have an 8 bit or 16 bit ADC?

The Spyverter HF up-converter specs don't say, but the actual Airspy SDR has a 12 bit ADC.
