I received a SSTV picture from the International Space Station on the 11.00am Australian pass yesterday on my smart phone, using my Icom handheld to receive the signal, using a halfwave vertical antenna.

OK, it looks like we may have one final opportunity overnight to receive further images as the SSTV experiment concludes.

If you don't already have mode PD290 selected as an option, select it as an option just in case.

The final part of the experiment is expected to commence at 14:00UTC and conclude at 19:00UTC

Good Luck.

The final image I received before the Russian cosmonauts completed the second short MAI experiment. This was received at 1:03am this morning.

I had the robot 36 app in my smart phone which used the microphone in the phone to pick up the audio from the icom handheld on fm on 145.800mhz.
I previously used this method to receive SSTV pictures from the International Space Station last year.
The app can be downloaded from the internet.
This mode changed automatically after receiving a signal for a few seconds to the one used by the Space Station.

I calcualte a pass for Sydney as follows;

Rise: 2016/08/15 08:32:33 228.6 0.1 145.80353 144.48667
Max: 2016/08/15 08:37:56 317.9 74.7 145.80014 144.49004
Set: 2016/08/15 08:43:15 41.9 0.0 145.79681 144.49333

74.7 degrees would provide some very strong signals.

Sorry , after submitting I found you cannot read it properly.
