News update for Central Highlands Amateur Radio Club. We are currently testing a home brew 70cm DSTAR at our Carborough Range repeater site inland west of Mackay. This repeater services the area along the peak downs highway from Nebo to Moranbah. The home brew setup is using Tait 8115 radios, DVRPTRv1 and Rpi2. 439.950MHz -5MHz. This repeater is an addition to our low cost digital voice network of repeaters.
