Greetings OMs and YLs
I'm trying to find out what the rules/regulations are around VK hams operating overseas, particularly in relation to Standard licensees and operating in Europe and whilst there is some info online it's either old or not very clear.
Can anyone point in the the direction of a website where it is clear cut?
Some people have told me that Standard calls are not permitted to operate is Europe under the VK call but I am struggling to find it in writing where it defines whether it is or isn't allowed.
Many thanks.

Do you have this bit on your licence?
If so, then you can operate in Europe.

Here are the details in ACMA Table A of what licence WAS required to operate. They have not finalised under the current licences.

As you see, most require an Advanced licence.

How long are you going for? If you are going to the UK for a while enquire about getting a reciprocal UK intermediate call which you may then be able to use in Europe. I have a 'G' call that I have used all over Europe and in NZ (just for fun).
