local sez he can hear ? cxr 144.135 ex moon, I can't chk. Any mode used onthis freq and any one on eme at moment

That's a broad group of questions, Pat.

The most likely mode will be JT65B. CW is possible, but I'd suggest there are more stations running JT65B at the moment than CW. Or USB...

I've been listening on 144.135 since I saw your post, 3 minutes ago, and haven't seen any signals here. But signals between the earth and the moon have been, as a Chinese curser would say, "interesting" in the past few days. :wtf:

Many tks ! vk2mdc, abt 2 km away been having a listen, his set up only so so but way way ahead of me but I the only local here on cent coast he cud raise
and although I am interested and been boning up only have the faintest idea. Want to help anyone that's keen.

Would really need to know what your mate's station is. Is he even pointed at the moon? It's quite possible he's hearing birdies in the noise.
