EMDRC Club Room Meeting 17th April - Sark-110

Post by VK3BQ »

April Clubroom Meeting – Friday 17th – SARK-110 Antenna Analyser.
Late last year the club purchased a SARK-110 Antenna Analyser. It is available for loan and, despite its tiny size, it is a very powerful device. This presentation demonstrates some of the capabilities of the SARK-110. You will still have to read the manual if you want to use it, but this talk will show what it’s capable of. Its features include: measurement of the vector impedance; VSWR; vector reflection coefficient; return loss in antenna system; Smith charts; RL-C (as series or parallel equivalent circuits); TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) mode which is intended for fault location and length determination in coaxial cables; Programmable RF signal generator; Save data to files; Interface to PC application (SARK Plots)
