I'm looking for info on a NEC 3 phase 150 amp 50 volt SMPS used to power V1600/A1200 NEC TV transmitters. These can easily be converted to
single phase but require a link on the control socket which has a outaide profile like a DB9 but looks like a Centronics socket. It has 14 pins ie 7 each side.
Any info or suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like it's different to the 28v versions as they have 18 pins top and bottom.

Attached is a pic of the 28v psu I have, note the shorted pins on the right hand side.

P.> the fat edge of the plug is the top edge, if that makes sense...

Thanks for the reponses so far. It is different to the 28 volt NEC supplies. The higher current 28 volt supplies ie 180amp use different pins in the centronics connector. I have one of these
going and it uses pins 3 and 21. The 50 volt supply is designed to slide into the rack along side the PA modules so is a similar size to those used in 20KW and 30KW transmitters. There are several
power supplies used in each transmitter which I assume is designed that way in case one fails then there is still some TX output ( I think ).

thanks again to all.
