Thanks - I'll do that if I have no success with Badgers.

BTW - the calculation that 2kg of 2.4mm works out to be about 16m long is rubbish. It is actually 160m. A case of a before and after caffeine calculation...

They have a small orders online facility. I ordered 35m of 3mm. They normally post it out, but I jumped in the car and picked it up COD.

$37 for 35m.

I asked for annealed (out of ignorance mainly) and found it softer than I thought it would be. No fault of BW - just my lack of experience. Might ask for some samples of different hardnesses.
