Hi Adrian,
I presume you're referring to ther <.....> JO33QB ?? That will be a station that has checked "Force 6-digit grid square.

That's the one. Excuse ignorance but if I force 6 digit grid square I won't tx my callsign? Sorry if stupid question but I am new to WSPR

When you tick the box to force send 6 digit grid, the program then no longer has sufficient space in a single transmission to send all the information requested of it, so it must break the information up.
So one transmission it will send the call, 4 dig grid and power level.
The next it will send the call as a 15 bit hash code, 6 dig grid and power level.
If the 15 bit hash code is received before the full callsign has been received then the <...> is displayed.
Once the full callsign is decoded the program recognises the hash code and fills in the blanks.
