This path was nearly not discovered as there were no VK5's with WSPR running. Keith VK5AKM was putting out a few my way and I think he put a signal out toward Derek, but Keith didn't discover this till it was all gone.
Phil VK5AKK was only able to get one signal through also before it closed. So very lucky to have seen this one, im guessing that it would have been open for hours before hand.

Current Bight Path opening has been going since the 28th of Feb!
Still going this morning, must be a record long opening. Still holding same high pressure cell.'
Up to the 8th day now
Well done particularly to Derek VK6DZ, whom without we wouldn't be able to obtain all the data we are getting. Also Phil VK5AKK doing a fantastic job of testing with Derek on both 2m and 70cm.
Of course also all others in VK5 & 3 whom have been able to bridge the gap to Derek.
A shame there has been no other VK6 stations popping up on the WSPR map.
