I am considering getting an Samsung Note 8" that is running Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. I cant find anywhere where the Signlink USB is know to run on Android OS.
Has anyone out their done it first hand?

I haven't heard of using a Signalink USB with Android, however I just finished putting a interface into a nice plastic box that works very well with DroidPSK & DroidSSTV using a Samsung Tab 2 10".
I got a board and components from VK3WAM last year and made the board up but hadn't put it into a box so I could use it on SOTA outings. Have a look at the link to his page below.

You could always drop him an email to find out if he has any more boards and components left.
There is always another you could look at and that is made by the author of the DroidPSK & Droid SSTV @ http://www.wolphi.com which is very similar to VK3WAM interface.
