VK5RLD Riverland - Frequency Change

Post by VK5GR »

In case there are other travellers who get caught the same way I did last weekend, please note that VK5RLD in the Riverland which for many years operated on 147.925 -600KHz (due to TV Channel 5A interference issues across the Riverland region) has now been inverted back to 147.325+600KHz input.

Once on the right frequency it's coverage back west at least was impressive, now being able to be accesed/heard from almost Blanchtown on the flats, as well as from the top of Accommodation Hill. It is borderline usable even in Waikerie caravan park (a surprise considering the terrain there).
