I doubt they'll be any in VK1, how do I get my hands on one? :shock:

I would DEFINITELY be interested in getting one of these at least (2nd for spares).
Over here in the West there were none of these in the field to my knowledge.
If they are here, how does one locate the local ones, so they can be visually checked out and GRABBED up before going to eWaste (what a shame that would be).

I checked the ACT eWaste today and nothing to be found - a long shot but certainly worth a drive.

If you find you have a spare it would certainly have a good home in VK1!

Go to BA district base
introduce yourself to local manager
and ask about the translators sites around VK1 VK2

Guys

Make the most of it.
Here in NZ the $%#@'s would not let anyone have them, claimed they were toxic and contained Berillum so thay had to be disposed of safely.
What a load of coblers! NZ has become so rigid and risk averse it's a joke.

Well a lot of my gear had Berillum in it.... I am from the 80's and most of the semiconductors from that erra had that in them.
Am I going to bin my old gear because seald inside the packages is a toxic material.... hell no!

Go for it and recycle that gear. :D
