Well I'll let you decide if the price is OK.

My particular unit reads about 2MHz high @ 50MHz/div. You can try and adjust it for absolute accuracy at the expense of frequency linearity.

The step attenuator is pretty close on 10dB per step but I wouldn't trust it to make absolute measurements unless you had some means of calibrating first.

You can use it to adjust filters and it's great when adjusting transmitters as it's real easy to see when the the PA is being over driven. It only has two resolution BW, 250kHz and 20kHz plus a video filter. You won't be able to do measurements close in to a carrier.

In the FM broadcast band it's reasonably easy to make out the individual stations if you like that kind of thing.

Good luck finding a user manual or circuit but I think it's very close to the HAMEG.

I think it's a good tool to have in the shack.

I looked at the Atten but ended buying one of these:

Google tsa5g35

Silicon Chip has a review this month but it is similar to this one:

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but then I didn't want to pay up to $2K for something that wouldn't get a lot of use.
