FK8 2m Repeaters

Post by ADMIN »

And staying away from 6m...

On the suggestion from Leigh, VK2KRR, the two New Caledonia 2m repeaters have been added to the VK Logger Repeater database.
These are regularly heard in VK4 during summer.

FK8ZHA (FK8ZHA-R) Output: 146.200.

FK8ZHB (FK8ZHB-R) Output: 145.100.

For the purpose of the VKL listings, the hypen R has been dropped from the callsigns, to KISS.
They are simply known as FK8ZHA and FK8ZHB.

The map within the repeater pages limits zoom, but both sites are clearly visible using the Mapping page (use satellite view) , where zooming right in to the Semaphore station and Mont Do site is possible.

Hello everyone I'll send you new pictures de fk8zha. Now we use a container altitude 1000m .
fk8zhb altitude around 66 m On this site we use too an transponder 145.600 <==> 435.500
We are linked on echolink with the transponder. Looking for fk8hm echolink.
With a good propagation echolink could be good to use as a feed back ?
I wish you a good day. I return to work.

Has anyone worked from VK4 into FK8 on 2m simplex? Should be an easy path if repeaters are being heard. Maybe for 70 and 23cm too, but you need stations at both ends.
