In addition, cloning software CS-9100 Rev. 1.01 is downloadable.

http://www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/firm/

It is recommended that IC-9100 owners upgrade their radios to the latest firmware rev. level.

The improvements listed for FW Rev. E2 are as follows:

Improvements
1.Fixed an audio problem when switching the band while receiving in the FM mode.

2.Fixed a DTCS and tone squelch decoding problem when receiving in the 9600bps mode.

3.Fixed an improper S-meter indication problem when the mode is changed while receiving.

** I wrote a small blog about the upgrade. it was simple :D
