Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for a source of 6 pin power connectors suitable for the older style Yaesu/Icom/Kenwood radios. I don't want to buy complete cable assemblies.

Lou, check out the second post in this topic: "DC multipin connector for FT-736R".
(Pictures are attachments and can't be re-posted here in a different topic.)
Try contacting Andy... it's been a few years since I got mine from him.
Good price, good service.

Re: Looking for transceiver power connectors
What you are looking for are 'Jones plugs' (or sockets).
While they are still being made by companies like Molex and Cinch Connectors, they no longer make the style where one pin is at a 90deg to the rest.
You will need to change the plug on the rig as well as the power lead.
Mouser and Jameco in the US have them. Haven't seen anybody locally with them in quite a while.
