Aluminium Mesh

GD all,
Anyone know of a supplier of Al mesh? Preferebly SE Qld......
I have a petal missing from my new dish.

Try a security door manufacture. May have some ally flywire mesh??

Have a talk to apple aluminium at Archerfield , they should have a clue

@VK4CDI:- I successfully replaced the aluminium mesh in 4 panels of my 3m Satellite-TV dish.

You should start the replacement process from the inner part of the section you are replacing - i.e.
work from inside to outside replacing the screws and 'forming' the parabolic curve as you go. My
dish worked 'as good as new' using this process.....MANY screws to move !

The mesh I used came from CAPRAL ALUMINIUM and is/was the black stuff used in 'heavy duty'
security doors/windows.


Daunting at first, the job went very well.
