QRP hours contest 80m 6 April 1000-1200

I got about 17 Ssb and 11 cw contacts in last years event and was top scorer for vk2. Can you better that?

I am planning on being there for the digi hour (59 minutes actually).

Will be QRP, portable and using someone else's radio with my laptop. Should be a few challenges in that!

One of the SOTA guys in vk3 is going to be operating in the QRP hours event from a summit. A rare sota contact on 80m.

I don't have any digi modes set up at present Compton but good luck with that, there will be contacts to be made.

I'm hoping for increased activity from vk2 in this years events. Hope to work many more than 17

Home stations running normal power levels (100w or more) are always welcome in the events. A 5 watt signal is only 13 db below 100w so you'll easily copy all east coast QRP stations.
