Hello Everyone
I am having trouble getting JT65 to transmit using a Signalink USB.
On the JT65 rig control/ptt screen it says:
"Enter COMM port" Does a USB device such as the Signalink use a COMM port? If so, how do I find out the number of the port? I can't see it in device manager.
The other option is: use alternative PTT method. Checking this box does not seem to work either.
The annoying thing is I got it to transmit ok when playing around last night, but don't know how it did it But when I switched on this morning it is not working
Please reply in language to suit an IT-challenged, semi-geriatric.

Setting up JT56 using Signalink USB
Re: Setting up JT56 using Signalink USB
Got it sorted. You have to use "alternative PTT method" and make sure the changes have been saved.
Now all I have to do is get someody to hear my 2.5W

Wayne, I work JT65 on all bands. If I decode you anywhere, I'll give you a call.

<edited at 0255utc> PS... I decoded you at 0244utc 14.076 @ -08 but I was in the kitchen making a coffee and by the time I got back in the shack, you had gone

Just had my first JT65 QSO into ZL3 but have been reported in SP. Amazing!
