VK3GK/9 Norfolk island this wekend

Hi Guys
Just to let you know that i will be on Norfolk Island this weekend From midday Friday until Tuesday 15th Jan
i will have equipment with me, possibly an ic7000 or TS480HX, 20' squidpole vertical, ah4 tuner and 80m OCF dipole.
I would lke to say I am going "just for the field day" but that is fibbing.

It is also my 21st wedding anniversary and as soon as the XYL realised that ones suitcase is going to be "radio related" i just got the "look" and i wont repeat what she then said.......
So the big question, will we make it to 22?

Hopefully i can make some 6m qso's back to vk?
I will also be operating HF when time permits.

So while she is being antisocial reading all those ebooks i loaded on the ipad mini from santa, i might get a moment to play radio.

Don't push your luck mate, you won't be much use to the hobby if you are in ICU due to a "radio-related" head injury.
