Anyone know where I can get some of this?
Prefer local supplier.

Rogers Ultrlam 2000
Re: Rogers Ultrlam 2000
Phil,
Give Rogers a try for some free samples:
http://rogerscorp.force.com/samples/samples_public
Last time that I tried, it only took a week or 2 for the shipment to arrive. They offer 2 panels of up to 2 types of board. All sent for nix.
Good luck,
Peter VK3PF

Re: Rogers Ultrlam 2000
Thanks for the tip.
Ultralam 2000 is no longer available, so asked for some 5880.
Had aphone call from the states asking me lots of questions about how many 1000's of units I would be looking at etc etc.
Told them it was personal research and I might publish results in a amateur mag.....Sort of happy...
Then I get a form to fill in asking wether i am using it in Nuclear weapons, missiles, and/or chemical/biological weapons, or if I intend to pass it on to someone who might be making the above......
all for a couple of 9" x 6" bits of PCB to make a power combiner....
Now I am not game to google any of the above terms.......
