I have two of these downconverters model 3731AA from my AO-40 days.
Has anyone tried them out on EME or terrestrial contacts recently.
Noise fig of 0.97 and a gain of 38.2 db .
K5GNA used to supply them back then.
Are they still comparable with the latest gear?
Just looking at future eme options or maybe even some local stuff ( he says dreaming of microwave activity in Perth )
Thanks
Keith
