Hi,
I thought it might be handy to have a thread to record the faults and possible fixes for the very popular IC-910H. I am working on the pre-driver FET replacement in my 910 so will start a thread on that and link that into this 'master' thread.
Here is the link to a thread started by VK4UH about his IC-910

Icom IC-910H faults and fixes
Re: Icom IC-910H faults and fixes
Has anyone come across this particular problem I'm having with my 910H, Just bought second hand unused for several years.
When I try to operate in Satellite mode on FM for the SO-50 Hamsat the readout starts scrolling down in frequency but only in FM mode if in SSB it acts as it should. I have checked to see if the "Scan" button is stuck but it's not and SSB would scroll down as well if that was the case.
What am I missing?
Is this a known issue for anyone else?
How do I fix it? As the Satellite function is so much better than using 2 radios and manually adjusting for the dopler shift.
Thanks

Steve, FFC (flat flexible cable) usually comes in 0.5 and 1.0mm pitch.VK3ZAZ wrote:looking for a replacement flat cable as used to direct plug into Jack two rh end for the icom ux910 1286 module mine have peeled back.
