work ethics.

Never Modify no matter what the excuse.
Personal ethic and response to the haters and trolls.

My early life was institutionalised straight up abusive.
I was lucky enough to get out and get past the trauma, even the vilification notoriety and stigma from ham radio.

My mentors were Eric VK5LP and Bill VK3WK.
Bill taught me to fly to the exact standard S/E IFR.
Four aircraft 40 years and 8000 hours In AU, Canada and Alaska, I have retired from flying.

Eric once wrote me a reference that secured me a spot with ANARE 1992
He told me I could start anew and be the best person I could be.
It gave me a new confidence to live up to his expectations and gain self esteem.
Unfortunately there were people that did not share his optimism,
whatever.

Great effort Steve.

Always good to see someone who has stuck at it for so long with a consistent work ethic and work history.

I have just finished 50 years with DET Victoria and feel the same way about having a consistent ethic throughout one's career.

Good health to you in the future! (and of course, good DX!)

Cheers
