Repeater Database Updates

Post by ADMIN »

With thanks to Grant, VK5GR, for submitting some new Repeater details, the following D-Star repeaters have just been added to the VK Logger Repeater database;

VK5RWN 147.0375 http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1724
VK5RWN 438.400 http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1723
VK5RWN 1273.700 http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1722

Signed in VK Logger users can edit/update these records at their leisure.

Don't forget, spotting repeaters is an easy way to update their status to "Active".

This morning Im hearing a repeater not listed in the database, its on 438.175.
From my beam heading and the conversation it seems its somewhere near Marysville, could hear station mobile near Buxton.
Can anyone help with some info ?

With thanks to Andrew, VK4JV, the following repeaters on Mt Mowbullan have been added to the VK Logger repeater database.

VK4REG 70cm http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1734

VK4REG 2m http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1735

VK4REG 6m http://www.vklogger.com/repeater.php?ac ... rdnum=1736

Try them out, and if you can hear them, please consider "spotting them" on VK Logger occasionally.
This will then update the specific repeater record as being "active", and keep the repeater list nice & fresh.

If Mt Mowbullan sounds familiar, it's where the VK4RTT 2m beacon is located.

G'day Adam,

On the VK Logger repeater list, there is an existing entry for a 2m repeater on VK2RWB. Can you please place an additional entry for VK2RWB for a new 70cm repeater on the same site:
VK2RWB Mt Gwynne NSW
Output: 439.650
Input: 434.650
CTCSS: 123Hz

And I'll finish off the rest of the details.

Thanks.

Cheers,
