Hi All,
Been lumping thru all that is available on Guggle but either I'm missing the point (or just getting older).
For a design of a UHF or a VHF ring so as to have 2 VHF or 2 UHF radios on a single antenna with the ability of operating one while the other is chugging along (monitoring a different frequency).
I know about Duplexers, but these are generally a mix of 2 or 3 ports with inputs of:- Lo Vhf, Mid Vhf & HF (or similar for other different bands) to a single output. But NOT for the same band & I do not really want to go down the road of a cavity as I don't have a workshop set up at all.
I thought I had one spec'd for 2M that allowed this, but in my house move I can't find it either in paper form or digitally.
If there is a kind op who can help me get my head around this I'd be most great-full.

Re: Hybrid Rings
Hi Mark,
Two radios (VHF or UHF) on the one antenna.
My advice, don't do it!! Get a rig with scanning capability to monitor several frequencies.
I use a VX-5R hand-held to monitor 6m from a 5/8 vertical.
I use BNC connectors as they are fast to change, one rig to another.
Mark, I looked for your email address on QRZ, tiz not there.
