WIA AU Amateur Band-plan 160M-70cm single-page wallchart by VK6DVR 11Feb2016 23:15

Inspired by Terry, VK5TM's single-page AU Band-plan, and in the interests of getting that up to date (as of WIA's 11Feb2016 update), tonight I spent an hour making a new one for anyone interested in keeping one next to their rigs. And, to be generous, I'll even let you scribble your own favourite frequencies on the chart next to your band/s of choice.

Makes life somewhat easier.

however it looks to me like the WIA Plans used shows what the WIA have planned for the future and these do not reflect what is currently present (eg: current 70cm repeater inputs of which some are in the LIPD area). Not sure if a similar situation also applies to some of the other bands. A measure of caution needs to be therefore applied when using these WIA Pand Plan Charts.

It is rather difficult to have a simple diagram when there is a list of exceptions that also apply!

Hi Tim, Yeah, I tried to fit those bands on, but couldn't fit them without losing the whole effect on just one page.
I figured these were bands less likely to be used than what's there, so I had to use the 80%/20% rule and they got tossed, unfortunately.
If bods were going to those bands frequently, then maybe just pencil in your own freqs.

In terms of printing, the PDF was designed for A4, but obviously will print to A3 as well.

Well VK-Loggers, I made up a VK-ACMA-WIA Ham-Bands Wallchart recently on 04Apr2016 20:36.
Now, here's a 'Full-Spectrum' USA one to compare with what we have in OZ.


I suggest an A3 (or even A2) printer to print this one following!

I was just thinking the other day that I should do one of these up for myself.

Thanks Danny for saving me all the time and effort to produce my own !

The only 'improvement' I could see with it is to define the F call bands.... would like to be able to hand it out to those that I do F call assessments on, so it makes for no mistakes when they get on the air.... yes, they should know better, but just something nice to do.
