2.4Ghz Grid Antennas

Recently ordered a 2.4Ghz SG-Labs Transverter and was looking for a suitable antenna to start off with, to get my feet wet on 13Cm.
Found these Grid antennas on clearance sale.
Specs looked ok, antenna arrived today and looks quite good for the low price.
Has anyone used these before or feedback to offer?

It is exactly what I'm using on 2.4Ghz with fantastic results. Only thing it don't use it the way it is in the photo. You need to turn it long ways vertically so it will be Horizontally polarised. I got a Kuhne based transverter with 20W output with signal reports of S9 over 150Km distance.
I got mine from Brisbane at the RF shop (I think) for around the $25.00 mark. A lot of us up here in south east VK4 use them.

These offer good value for money, and perform to expectations (as seen in ZL1TPH video of my signal peaking RS57+ in ZL via tropo).

Look to EvilBay. These are typically sub$90 incl delivery.

BTW: Would love your feedback on the SG Labs Tvtr... considering one for a permanent home station with 75w amp!

On another note, has your 13cm SG Labs transverter turned up yet? I did my fist qso on 13cm the other week on the SG Labs transverter, it worked very well!
