New AX.25 Packet DX Cluster in Adelaide on air 147.575

Post by VK5GR »

Well, for all the packet radio and DX tragics in Adelaide, you can now access your DX Cluster data on the move around the Adelaide metro area without using Cellular. The VK5GR-2 DXCluster is now active on 147.575MHz... Coverage over the beaches, inter-metropolitan area and foothills should be OK. I have 130m elevation from Highbury.

(Yes its a blast from the past - but it will be fun to see if anyone does actually use it).

I am planning on adding an FBB BBS as well to the system in the coming days and getting the NET/ROM node linked back interstate as well. Once I figure out who is controlling the AmprNet namespace in Adelaide I will also setup some AmprNet TCP/IP routing as well for fun.
