PS-35 PICO balloon HF payload JT9 WSPR CW
Hi all,
FYI PS-35 is in the air.
Solar powered party balloon, 25mW TX
TX WSPR, JT9 and CW (12WPM) on 30m and 20m
Dial frequency 10.138700Mhz and 14.095600Mhz (standard WSPR dial frequencies) for WSPR, JT9 and CW.
See HF decoding info at http://picospace.net/?cat=34
Tracking as PS-35 on SNUS http://picospace.net/tracker/new
WSPR call sign is VK3YT http://wsprnet.org/olddb?findcall=vk3yt
CW sends VK3YT<GRID><ALT><BATTERY> when battery is full, at minute 6,16,26,36,46,56.
Prediction
Assistance with tracking is appreciated.

Thanks Andy, receiving good decodes here for the last few hours, mainly on 30m. Even hearing the cw beacon as well
Now the band is opening many other strong signals is making it more challenging.
We will persist

Re: PS-35 PICO balloon HF payload JT9 WSPR CW
Hi all,
FYI, PS-35 went down shortly after crossing the international dateline, most likely because of cloud/ice.
Thanks everyone for the massive turnout for tracking!
I will start a new thread for PS-36.

PS-36 about to fly right over the top of Leigh, VK2KRR's QTH, less than a kilometre east.
