XRef - New Version for IC-9100

Post by VK3HZ »

I've just completed testing of an IC-9100 locked to 10MHz using a new version of the XRef known as the XRef-PLL.
As is probably obvious from the name, the new board uses a PLL to lock the IC-9100's own TCXO.
However, there's a bit more to it than that, so that the radio will revert to standard without 10 MHz connected.

The XRef-PLL will be available in several weeks, when we get the v1.0 PCBs. Price will be $80 plus postage.

The installation notes are here: http://www.vk3hz.net/XRef/XRef_Icom_IC-9100.pdf
The web page will be updated once the boards are actually available.

The XRef-PLL should work with a range of recent Icom radios. Please ask.

Regards,
Dave
