Truly sorry to hear that.

Bob broadcast numerous reports of propagation on 6m and 2m for years via the packet network, which proved not only interesting but very useful in separating sporadic E and tropo ducting on 2m over the summer months.

Another stalwart passes on. Vale Bob.

Sad news indeed - another true pioneer has left us.

I reckon I first worked Bob in about 1979 using a 4 element Yagi and an IC-202 (over !)-driving a 2N5590/2N5591 from
my house at West Croydon. Bob had 'power leak' but we struggled through to a contact as I could hear well....

Ten years ago in 2004, I made a trip to WA and called into Bobs Place VK6BE. We
went for a drive to the wind farm and then back for a TV dinner tea. Sad News indead.
