Ben,

Are you referring to the KR-400? They were produced under a number of different names. I have one here that I bought from DSE back in about 1980... just gave it a complete strip down and service about a year ago & it is like new. Here is a link to one source of info:

Looks a lot like a "Crown" rotator Ben... very popular for TV antennas around 1970-1980.

I've one of those. Bought it new back in the late 70's/early 80's. Never given any trouble. Currently turning my home station microwave antennas.

VK4TI, maybe yours is a STOLLE brand rotator

VK5TX, There maybe adjustment (end of travel adjustment) pots underneath or inside. May just have got out of range, and hence can only turn one way. Just a guess.

I have one of those in the shed. Used it for years turning 4 element on 15mtrs 8element on 2 and 20 element on 70cm and never died. Still works great so its a spare for any future antenna additions. Great rotator. :thumbup:

It's a cdr controller but a long rotator like the DIck Smith , perhaps an AR22
