Solar Event Wed, 10th Sept 2014

Post by VK2HRX »

I am sure that News.com is not the definative source for this sort of detail howewver it does report that a solar event has just occurred.

http://www.news.com.au/technology/scien ... 7054927442

Should we all start pointing yagis and things in the hope of some interesting propogation?

Interested in people's thoughts

I keep an eye on www.spaceweather.com and www.solarham.com
They will give you up to date info rather than the news sites
cheers

My thoughts, its only X1 range. The news people like to hype things up.
I doubt it will do much. Maybe something brief on 6m who knows, running 6m WSPR.
