I DID A search but came up with nothing really

so

What apps are people using in the ham world ??????

Depends on your interests. I don't have an iphone anymore but when i did i used echolink, pocketsat,ibcnu, sputnik, rainradar, flightradar24, strike finder, ebay as some on my list. I still have an old old ipad so they still get used, but mostly use my android phone and tablet nowadays.

I would add iAPRS to that list too, its very handy for laying a breadcrumb trail when your out of 2metre coverage area.
the current offering cr@ps all over the original version i downloaded a year of so ago.
